You guys have heard of Google’s new smartwatch, right? And you guys have heard of Minecraft too, right? What if I said to you that someone was crazy enough to try and play Minecraft on Android Wear? Or that it works surprisingly well on a 1.5 inch screen? Well, YouTube user Corbin Davenport decided to give it a shot, and the results are impressive.
The crazy part is that Corbin allegedly did nothing too significant – he simply manually installed the game onto his Gear Live. The Gear Live uses a Snapdragon 400 processor running at 1.2Ghz, with half a gigabyte of RAM and 4GB of storage – more than enough to get the popular sandbox game up and running. With some squinting and careful button presses, it seems like Corbin could actually play the game – but why would you want too?
What applications would you guys like to see on Android Wear? Would you be willing to play a game on such a small screen? Let us know in the comments.
