<< PREV 3. Deus Ex: the Fall NEXT >>
There is nothing on the mobile landscape that comes close to Deus Ex: The Fall in terms of being just a thoroughly playable 3D RPG. While the game’s gunplay suffered a little in the translation to mobile, The Fall engages players in such a wealth of actual role-playing, whether it be parsing though NPC dialogue, hacking security locks or influencing NPCs to look the other way that the shortfall is a minor detraction at best. There really is very little that did not survive the change-over from Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Players finding themselves crouching behind cover, escaping baddies in the shadows, stalking foes, engaging in fast-paced gun battles and happily manipulating detailed character sheets will be blown away by Deus Ex: The Fall’s superior world building, core-level of detail, as well as its console-quality graphics and sound. That it is painfully, though only somewhat short, is a testament to the quality of this thoroughly enjoyable RPG that undoubtedly stands as one of Android’s very best.
