Hardcore Droid provides Android game news. We report specifically on core mobile titles, especially Android RPGs, Android strategy games and Android action games. We choose our reporting based on mobile game or developer’s value from the perspective of the average hardcore gamer’s experience. These are people who love RPGs, FPSs, and adventure and strategy games of various stripes. So the question of how the average core gamer would enjoy a game is always be in the forefront of our Android game reviews.

This question of how core gamers would enjoy a game is always in the forefront of our Android Game News. Usually we discuss the most popular and critically acclaimed premium Android games and generally stick to the genres that most popular in the core gaming sphere. In other words the types of video games found on PCs and consoles.

This concept of core gaming on mobile cuts to the central theme of Hardcore Droid. We are looking to celebrate Android games, more particularly Android games that contain the depth, richness and narrative complexity of hardcore video games.

Consequently, all of our articles, including Android gaming news articles, highlight the focus of core gaming on Android.

To this end, we prefer to cover and report on premium mobile games over freemium mobile games. To this end, we are more likely to review and assess paid games over free to play games. As we are more likely to evaluate Android games that sophisticated, multi-faceted and complex.
