Just when you thought you couldn’t get enough dungeon crawling goodness on your phone, developer Beamdog brings Bladur’s Gate II, the sequel to the classic Bioware fantasy game, Baldur’s Gate, to the Android.
Like previous D&D games released on the Play Store, Baldur’s Gate II is $10, a steal considering it includes the original game and its expansion scenarios. Play time can clock in at an upwards of 100 hours.
The core of Baldur’s Gate II is Shadow Amn, which directly follows the story events of the original game. The game uses the Dungeons & Dragons tabletop world for its setting, rules, and even some of the game mechanics, though the combat is in real time.
There are IAPs in Baldur’s Gate, but they never harp gameplay in any way. You can download it for yourself here.
