DQ Dai: A Hero’s Bonds is an action RPG where players can control three characters at once in order to battle enemies. There’s also a coop function where players can team up with a maximum of two other players worldwide.
Classic characters like Leona and Crocodine are available for building up your team. These characters aren’t just for battling enemy hordes. Special scenes can be unlocked after raising a character’s Friendship Level. Expanding the in-game Ally Board helps to raise these Friendship Levels. There are also characters from the original series who don’t appear as playable characters but as Soul Crystals.
Soul Crystals raise the levels of your characters. Each character can have up to three equipped. Unique Soul Skills can be activated once these Soul Crystals have raised your character’s levels.
