Reclaim the power of your thoughts in Figment: Journey Into the Mind, coming soon to Google Play. A surreal adventure awaits players inside an abstract representation of the human mind. The result is an exploration of our innermost thoughts and the “voices” that guide our consciousness.
Following several years of quiet, monstrous thoughts form to terrorize the mindscape. Players take on the role of Dusty, a disgruntled custodian of the brain. Joining you is perky companion Piper, a sprite who serves as the main motivator of our grumpy protagonist. Thus, reclaiming the courage to keep going is the name of the game.
Nightmares coalesce in hand-drawn landscapes, combining top-down action with classic puzzle mechanics. Additionally, the adventure features a full score of musical performances that react to your actions within the world. Altogether, developer Bedtime Digital Games claims to provide a unique, artful experience that challenges “both brain and brawn.”
Players can look forward to Figment’s release on January 14, 2021. Previous console and PC releases have earned several independent awards worldwide.
