Gwent Jubilations
October 23, 2018 saw the release of Gwent: The Witcher Card Game in the Google Play store for mobile game players. Gwent: The Witcher Card Game, developed by CD Projekt, has garnered over one million downloads and holds a steady rating of 4.5 stars.
The fast-paced online deckbuilding game follows the rules of Gwent from its originator game, The Witcher. Players go for the best two out of three rounds, pitting their heroes and spell cards against each other. Since its inception, Gwent has held many events throughout each year. This holiday season is no different as Holiday Jubilations took over the popular card game at the beginning of December, 2021. Gwent is bringing holiday cheer to its players this season.

The “Holiday Jubilations” event gives away special resources and rewards earned simply by logging in and completing daily quests. More unique festive rewards can be earned by winning multiplayer matches. Players can exchange festive winnings for major prizes, from skins and borders to titles and avatars. Holiday quests reward players with specially themed trinkets to decorate their decks. And for a limited time, Geralt’s sword (inspired Netflix’s series adaptation of The Witcher) is available. Players have until January 13, 2022 to collect it. And of course, many of the wintery themed items will be available for purchase in the in-game store.
Speaking of in-game stores, there are special bundles and items currently for sale, too, including the legendary neutral leader skin. Overall, it would seem the developers of Gwent: The Witcher Card Game went all out to close out their third year since the game’s release. For those players who enjoy the game, it might be worth checking out the event before it’s gone. Don’t forget to check out HardccoreDroid’s Gwent: The Witcher Card Game Review here.
