Humble Bundle has been known for offering some of the best apps and games to gamers for a fraction of what they should cost. The Humble Bundle App was an easier way of accessing your games and apps, but according to Humble Bundle, the app is going the way of the dodo bird.
The announcement, which was shared on the Humble blog, was notably vague. It only says the app is being upgraded with new features that require it be removed from the Play Store. You’ll still be able to use it, but it will have to be sideloaded from the Humble Bundle site. As of now, the Humble Bundle app has been delisted from the Play Store, but can still be downloaded if you’ve used it before.
It’s a shame that we’ll be losing access to our own library of Humble Bundle purchased games, but I can’t say that I’m not excited for what they have in store. Hopefully it’s something that matches the convenience of the app.
What do you guys think? Are you mourning the loss of the app or are you excited for what the future holds? Let us know below.
