Gorgeous Girls & Zombie Warfare
Zombies have taken over World War 2 and it’s up to you to stop them in tap4fun’s Invasion: Zombie Empire. With an army of 3D butt-kicking beautiful women, those flesh-hungry zombies don’t stand a chance.
Basic Training
Before fighting zombie invaders, you need to choose which country to fight for: The United States, Soviet Union, or Germany. Each country has different Country Traits, meaning you’ll have different fighting experiences, and combat units, no matter which you pick. After picking your country, you’ll choose your first officer. You have a choice of three different women, each with different skillsets. Since I chose the US, my options are Maria (from Spain), Natasha (from France), and Riven (from England). Additionally, whoever you choose will also be your main love interest. All officers have Talent trees, which can be improved with Talent Points. For example, Natasha’s Talents are divided into Tank, Jungler, and Skill. This means she leads tanks into battle, is adept at fighting invaders, and causes significant damage to the enemy. Talent Points are earned every time an officer levels up.

Since most of your officers are female, you have the opportunity to flirt with all of them. They’ll be waiting in the Officer’s Club. Play a game of poker, i.e. find the hidden Joker, to flirt and increase their trust meter. The more they like you, the more receptive they are to your advances when you tap them. Beyond your officers, you’ll also be improving your base. Building structures like a Tank Armory and Drill Grounds give you powerful tanks and soldiers. Placing Farms and Steel Mills also help because both food and steel are needed to upgrade your buildings, along with gold. Those resources are also earned by completing different tasks, from upgrading a building to attacking a certain enemy. These resources are also sold via cash purchases, but it’s difficult to run out of them. You don’t need to spend real money if you don’t want to.
Spoils of War

Invasion: Zombie Empire provides players with countless ways to earn rewards. Beyond the Daily Login bonus, there’s also Missions. Daily Missions ask you to eliminate invaders and produce a certain number of troops. Recommended Missions have you go all over the map, from building farms to researching your military. Additionally, there’s a section labeled Activity that holds different rewards for different login days. Upgrade your headquarters and other buildings, recruit officers, and join a Guild and help its members. Not only will you receive food and steel, you also have a chance to win Officer XP and Recruitment Tickets. Use XP to level officers, and use tickets to win new officers and even more food, steel, and XP. Basic Recruitment is free after waiting five minuets between uses, while Elite Recruitment is free every three days. The game keeps you entertained with enough tasks that three days fly by quickly.
But wait, there’s more. In the Store section, there will be a Daily Special waiting for you. Though in the Store, Daily Specials are completely free and available every 24 hours. Also, when you send troops out to fight or gather resources, you’re rewarded for those missions as well. Besides winning resources after successful battles, you also earn gold. Gold, in addition to food and steel, is hard to run out of, but spend it sparingly. Sometimes it’s better to wait a few minutes for an upgrade. Lastly, after joining a Guild, you can help other members by accepting Help requests. Doing so gets you gifts, ranging from Normal to Rare. Normal gifts win you different items each time, and Rare gifts win you additional gold. The game is packed with content but can still be played for hours with a strong wi-fi connection. Who doesn’t enjoy earning multiple rewards?
Slight SNAFU

While the 3D graphics for Invasion: Zombie Empire are excellent, the game isn’t without problems. The most obvious one is that your officers aren’t appropriately dressed for a zombie apocalypse. Their skin is exposed almost everywhere, not to mention the clothing they do have looks uncomfortably tight. Is this a war game or a dating sim? Additionally, the main zombie enemies are also ‘hot’ women with exposed skin. Zombies aren’t attractive, they’re rotting and disgusting. This was incredibly sexist on the developer’s part, and while it doesn’t take away from the gameplay, it’s still unnecessary. Beyond the visuals, sometimes when your officers are talking to you, their spoken dialogue doesn’t match the text underneath them. Though odd, it’s a minor issue. Lastly, after winning multiple rewards, there’s no ‘collect all;’ you have to tap one at a time. It’s rather inconvenient and the game would benefit from some streamlining.
Forward March
Invasion: Zombie Empire is a graphically stunning strategy game that requires minimal thinking. Destroy invaders with powerful tanks and soldiers to win helpful rewards, and flirt with beautiful women in your downtime. Though the women aren’t properly dressed for war, never mind the apocalypse, you still need them to help you fight zombies.
Is it Hardcore?
Kind of...
While the game’s depiction of women is silly and sexist, Invasion: Zombie Empire provides a lot of strategic gameplay both on and off the battlefield.
