International studio Nexters has added a new title to their casual gaming lineup. Nexters portfolio includes hit titles such as Hero Wars and Throne Rush. Island Questaway is their newest foray into the world of casual games and the title fits right in with their other titles in the genre.
The stage is set for this new casual title with the main character, Emily, in search of her missing brother. Her search has led her to the titular island and a mysterious family estate. Uncovering the secrets of the island, and developing it, is the only way Emily will be able to find her brother.
Intricate puzzles and elaborate ruins cover the island. They are what remains from the mysterious and advanced civilization that once inhabited the island. Solving these puzzles and meeting fellow island dwellers along the way will help Emily to uncover clues about her brother. These clues aren’t just tied to her brother’s disappearance, players can also use them to learn about the island. However, family drama isn’t the only aspect of Island Questaway.
The sprawling family estate lies in ruins. Solving puzzles is one of the ways to restore the home to its former glory. There’s also the farm to consider. A prosperous harvest means more resources for exploring the island. Scattered throughout the island are more minigames and puzzles, along with new island neighbors.
