Slavic Shenanigans
Based on the cult comics by Janusz Christa, Kayko and Kokosh: Build and Rule is a strategy builder from Polish publisher Ditix Games and developer DreamStorm Studios. Your job is to rebuild the village of Mirmiłowo after it fell victim to a plague of chickens. The ruler, Mirmił, became emotionally distraught and ran off, forcing Kayko and Kokosh to step up. Their looks inspired by Gaulish warriors Asterix and Obelix, these two Slavic warriors need to rebuild their village while defending it from the Bloody Hegemon bandits. The bandit leader, Hegemon, won’t stop until he has conquered Mirmiłowo, so you need to be prepared.
Gather resources to build different structures and expand the village, allowing more residents to live there. Residents include regulars from the comic series such as Jaga the witch, Kokosh’s aunt, and Lubawa, headstrong wife of Mirmił. New villagers mean new quests to complete and new stories to hear. Manage your resources wisely to make your village prosper. Make weapons and fortify your defenses to prepare for any bandit attacks. Go beyond the village and explore the amazing land around it for all kinds of treasures and more. When you’re not rebuilding, play different minigames based on the comic adventures of Kayko and Kokosh. Some of these include riding on a cart pulled by a small dragon and flying through the air on a log.
The early access version of Kayko and Kokosh: Build and Rule comes with core gameplay features, a few minigames, single-player mode and the tutorial quests. This may not seem like a lot, but side quests, achievements, additional minigames and more will be added once the early access has finished.
