Build Your Kingdom
Ever wanted to build a kingdom? With Raw Fury’s Kingdom Two Crowns you’ll soon get your chance. Originally released for PC in 2018, to rave reviews, it debuts on Android and IOS later this month. The third game in the Kingdoms franchise, Kingdom Two Crowns by Raw Fury is a micro-strategy game in which players take on the role of a monarch. Get ready to recruit subjects and build your kingdom in this charming strategy game.
You play as a King without a Kingdom. Mounted upon your steed you’ll traverse the beautiful pixel art land. Collect coins which you can then use to recruit people into your kingdom. Train your citizens as archers to protect your kingdom or builders to help I grow. Building your kingdom will take strategy as you must keep an eye on your resources.
While you’ll spend your days exploring and building your kingdom, nights are spent defending your camp from The Greed. As the name suggests, the Greed are greedy creatures that are out to steal your coins and kingdom.
Split Screen Sweetness
Unlike its predecessors, Kingdom Two Crowns offers a co-op mode through which you can team up with a friend to build a flourishing kingdom. A rarity in mobile game, Kingdom Two Crowns co-op mode allows both players to play on the same device using split-screen. There’s classic split-screen where players sit side by side and sky to sky split screen which allows players to sit across from each and play on the same device.
While overall Kingdom Two Crowns sounds enticing one hopes that the developers have improved the save game system since the game’s predecessor, Kingdom New Lands. Often players would suddenly find the save game feature stopped working leading to hours of wasted gameplay.
Like many games, Kingdom: Two Crowns makes use of a medieval setting. However, the game will also have a Shogun theme which is based off feudal Japan. Shogun theme will allow you to recruit ninjas and explore bamboo forests. Raw Fury promises more themes will be added post-release.
Kingdom Two Crowns arrives on Android and IOS April 28th, but you can pre-register now. With breathtaking pixel art and the lure of building a kingdom, Kingdom Two Crowns is sure to appeal to fans of strategy games.
