This spring, MGA Entertainment, owner of Little Tikes and L.O.L Surprise! Toys teamed up with educational game developer TutoTOONS to announce news on their collaborative effort. L.O.L Surprise O.M.G Fashion Club shortlisted for the Bologna Licensing Awards, bringing prestige to TutoTOONS developers and MGA Entertainment producers. In the running for the category of best kids (ages 6 – 10 years) licensing project, L.O.L Surprise O.M.G Fashion Club went up against heavy-hitters like Pokémon x Van Gogh Museum and The Kingdom of Our Feelings. So, competition was fierce.
L.O.L Surprise O.M.G Fashion Club lets young gamers take on the world of fashion and design. Young players create their own unique styles. Using fun, educational quests, L.O.L Surprise O.M.G Fashion Club encourages gamers to let their inner fashion designer shine. Young players can play as either the fashion contestant or as the judge. TutoTOONS and MGA Entertainment promise that young gamers will be able to express themselves through fun, fulfilling in-game missions and competitions.
While L.O.L Surprise O.M.G Fashion Club did not take home the win, the prestige of being short-listed, and therefore recognized for their amazing work, was enough to make even the nomination a feather in the cap of both companies. TutoTOONS continues to develop fun and notable educational games for kids, from Smolsies to My Baby Unicorn. And MGA Entertainment continues to produce licensed products from home decor to television shows, and from stationary to sporting goods. Kids will continue to benefit from both companies’ hard work.
