Sam Wilson and Misty Knight join the Line-Up
Two champions have joined the team for MARVEL Contest of Champions just in time to fight the newest threat facing The Battlerealm. MARVEL’s newest villain is Galactus, a villain who destroyed all of Hell’s Kitchen.
Sam Wilson, the former Falcon and new Captain America, rounded up survivors from this catastrophe and led them to safety. An old Helicarrier piloted by Misty Knight is the newest safe ground within the game. Unfortunately, the aptly named Safe Haven is under threat from both external and internal forces.
Safe Haven is a neutral community that Misty Knight plans on building on board of her Helicarrier. Her goal is to create a sanctuary for everyone attempting to escape the Galactus threat. However, not everyone on board the Helicarrier agrees with her and there are mutinous whispers from some passengers. It’s up to not only Misty and Sam, but the player to find a solution to this moral dilemma.
When it comes to combat, Sam Wilson uses not only his flight harness but also the Vibranium shield that comes with the title of Captain America. Another piece of Vibranium shows up in this update in the form of Misty Knight’s prosthetic arm. Created out of Antarctic Vibranium by Tony Stark, Misty can wield cryogenic energy and break down most metals with her cybernetic arm.
