Save Your KingdomMerge Master Adventure Puzzle Merge Grid

You return from the Academy of High Magic to find the kingdom in ruins and the castle sealed. You’ll need supplies to rebuild your homeland. Use your merge power to create supplies and fix up the kingdom. Merge Master Adventure Puzzle is a new merge game by My.com B.V. Players must merge items on a grid to create new objects. Unfortunately, the game is unbalanced, creating a poor experience.

Merge Master’s gameplay is fairly simplistic. For each level, players must create a particular object. Players must then merge items to create the object. You’ll need to merge two identical pieces to create a higher-tiered piece. For example, merge two needles to create tongs. Merge two tongs to create a hammer. Throughout the game, you’ll create and merge weapons, spell books, tools, gold and more. I’ll admit Merge Master Adventure Puzzle is fun in short bursts. The simplistic gameplay offers a calming experience.

However, the game is wildly unbalanced, especially starting out. To add items to the grid for merging, you must tap the cart. Unfortunately, the cart can only be tapped a limited number of times. Once it’s tapped out (pun intended), you’ll have to wait a few hours before progressing. This happens way too often in early levels, so you don’t get a chance to become immersed before you must either cough up cash or take a break. Conversely, once you get far enough into the game you can play for a fair amount of time before running out of taps. This is largely because you can merge items into extra carts and other object generators that can spawn items on the grid.

Purchases And Power-UpsMerge Master Adventure Puzzle Cave

Of course, Merge Master comes with your standard in-app purchases. Players can purchase crystals, the game’s premium currency for anywhere between $1.99 and $99.99. Crystals can be used to purchase gold, powerups and energy. Players can also buy items rather than merge them, though only six objects are on sale at a time. These sale items refresh daily.

Let’s talk power-ups. Merge Master offers only four types of powerups. However, they are extremely useful. Firstly, there’s the scissors. Need an item for a quest but you just merged it? Scissors let you revert a merged item to it’s last stage. This is incredibly helpful for those of us that get a little merge happy and forget to check our objectives. Then, we have the banner. When activated, it speeds up the recharge time of any carts and other item generators nearby on the grid. Next, there’s the hourglass. It can be combined with any generator to speed up its recharge time by one hour. Lastly, the star sphere is essentially a wild card, capable of being merged with any item on the grid.

Merge Master Adventure Puzzle is a decent merge game. The game starts out slow but becomes more enjoyable as you progress, and the pace picks up. This isn’t a game that will keep you enthralled for hours on end, but it is a fun casual title. If you’re looking for a relaxing puzzle game to play in short bursts, Merge Master may be for you.

Yeah

Merge Masters is a fun little puzzle game. Gameplay is poorly balanced in early levels, but the pace picks up as you progress.
