Mergeland Alice’s Adventure is Here
The world was first introduced to Alice over a century-and-a-half ago with Lewis Carroll’s 1865 novel, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Since then, Alice and her adventures have been the subject of many books and over thirty animated or live-action films.
This is not the first time a game has been based on Alice, going back to American McGee’s Alice, but the franchise has assuredly been lacking in-game content. Mergeland’s Alice’s Adventures, developed by Gaming Laboratory, is a merge puzzle game that follows Alice as she returns to Wonderland. The player reunites with classic characters like Tweedledee and Tweedledumb, the White Rabbit, the Cheshire Cat, and the White Queen.
The game tasks Ally, (not Alice) to merge certain items to progress the main storyline. She will gather against the Queen of Hearts to stop her from destroying Wonderland.
During her adventures, Ally will have the opportunity to help her allies, such as saving the White Rabbit from a troublesome situation and also helping to restore his greenhouse. Ally will also assist the Duchess in rebuilding her estate to ensure the safety of her baby. We can’t forget about The Mad Hatter, one of the franchise’s most beloved characters, which Ally will help assist with some home renovations. After which, she can attend his famous tea party for some refreshments.
