Boxing Star Releases June Update
South Korean video game publisher Thumbage announced the latest update for its mobile sports game Boxing Star. The update adds a new Sparring System and more.
The sparring system allows players to obtain buffs for both offensive and defensive characters. Each buff has a set duration and will be replaced if the character gets a new buff before it expires. The Boxing Star June update also raises the maximum level of gym equipment to 8.
Additionally, Thumbage announced some new events for fans to join in. The first, “Gym Equipment Repair for 1 Gold,” runs until June 7. As the name implies, it lets players repair gym equipment for only one gold. Meanwhile, fans can earn a reward by posting a screenshot of their character’s gym costume by June 11. Finally, players who log in between now and June 12 will get rewards, including coins and an upgrade gloves box.
