Realistic Modern Warships Galore
This isn’t your grandfather’s Battleship. For anyone who’s seen The Hunt for Red October or any film comparable and wondered just how cool it would be to helm a warship as captain…now is your chance. Modern Warships: Sea Battle Online is a new game by developer Cube Software that goes beyond the “I sunk your battleship” mantra. It incorporates ultra-realistic renders of ships lifted directly from drawings that detail the intricacies of each warcraft.
Not only are there 30 ships from different countries to choose from, each with its own strength and weakness. But the game also features submarines, fighter jets and deck helicopters. It also incorporates several weapons that allow for customization, including rockets, missiles and machine guns to name a few. In fact, there are over 200 weapons featured in the game. And it seems that the player will have to utilize the offering as best they can. Because after the loadout is complete, it’s time to take the ship or aircraft into online PVP battle with custom matches against friends or opponents from random lobbies. Modern Warships has been hailed as the most realistic online sea battle game to date. And that apparently spans across the PC and console realm. The game has accumulated almost 3 million downloads and 17,000 reviews on Google Play while in soft launch. Pretty impressive.
