The mega popular open world sandbox game, Minecraft has become a cultural phenomenon since its original release on the PC in 2009. Since then, the Minecraft gravy train has shown no signs of slowing down, as indicated by the Android version of the game, which just surpassed over 30 million downloads. To celebrate, Mojang is hosting a live Q & A session on their official TwitchTV account at 3PM CET on Friday 16th of January.
The game’s immense popularity is in large part due to it allowing players to explore immense, immersive maps that are accompanied by complex and reactive eco-systems, letting them transform the landscape around them and influence the world. A semi-complex crafting system helps compel those who are disinterested by the construction possibilities, and sends them into caves and across the wilderness to forage and mine for resources while avoiding or slaying the indigenous Mobs.
With a randomly generated map that’s built as you explore, the game is vast and ever changing, and an amazing multiplayer mode means you can easily team up with others for exploring.
Questions must be submitted through the official Reddit thread and Mojang’s team will read through them and then respond to the best.
