A World in Glass
Error300 studios released a new narrative-driven puzzle game, Mosaic Chronicles. In the game, players can move and place-stained glass puzzle pieces to create beautiful and vibrant mosaics. This challenging puzzle game promotes literacy in a fun and inventive way. The first story “A Bit of Horoscoping” features 13 breathtaking mosaics with more on the way. This paired with a heroic score creates a unique puzzle experience. Error300 studio paired with Olga Gromyko’s unique story creates a game that thrives in the puzzle game genre.
The mosaics behind the game are inspired by works created by Ukrainian writer, Olga Gromyko. This game appeals to fans of both the visual novel genre and the puzzle genre. Her series, The Belorian Chronicles is the retelling of eastern European folk stories in Mosaic Chronicles. Both “A Bit of Horoscoping” and “The Luck Knot” the storyline are available early access on Steam. “The Luck Knot” storyline will be available to both iOS and Android platforms in the upcoming future.
Storybook Puzzles
Marina Makerewska Director and Designer at Error300 says “We’re starting with ‘A Bit of Horoscoping’ to make sure we get the basics right. It’s looking like that’s the case, so stay tuned for a number of content and functionality updates in the near future.” Mosaic Chronicles and Error300 pride themselves on their intuitive controls and seamless transition to iOS and Android systems. Because of this, the game will hopefully prove successful on the new platfoms.
Mosaic Chronical’s gallery looks like a children’s storybook and Error300 studios used this design choice to promote literacy. The game provides 3 difficulty levels to make Mosaic more accessible and replayable. There are very few ads in the game allowing players to enjoy the game uninterrupted. This game does provide players with the option to remove ads with a single in-app purchase. Players can find Mosaic Chronicles on iOS, steam, and android platforms.
