As if Pascal’s Wager was not hardcore enough already, Tippworks Studios and Giant Global recently announced that players can expect thrilling new game content when the next patch is released. The update’s biggest draw will likely be Pascal’s Wagers new boss challenge mode. The boss challenge mode will be free for anyone who’s who owns the game. It will allow players to battle any boss, so long as they have previously defeated them in-game. This new mode promises to be a challenging endeavor. Each fight will be timed. which will be used to rank players on the new leaderboard. That’s right, not only will you be able to brag to your buddies, but you’ll also have a chance at leaderboard glory.

If you’re not already familiar with this gem from Giant Global, Pascal’s Wager is an intense and unforgiving action RPG that hit google play earlier this year. The games bases its save and level up features off the Dark Souls franchise and provides an equally compelling challenge.

Set to release this winter, the patch will also include other new content, including new outfits for Terrance, and his companions. This will allow players to battle the dark creatures that populate the world of Pascal’s Wager in fashion.

Each chapter of Pascal’s Wager offers players a uniquely grotesque and horrifying boss to fight. With Pascal’s Wagers new challenge boss mode, you’ll finally be able to test different strategies against your favorite bosses. Players unlock new companions as they progress through the game. Currently, it’s impossible for Benita, the blind nun, to battle the Holy Father from chapter two. However, all that will change with the release of this new mode. It’ll likely be a fun and exciting challenge to re-battle bosses using different characters, weapons and abilities.
