Create Your Crew
Pirates of Freeport is Wow Effect Inc.’s third game. This roguelike RPG promises an epic action-packed pirate adventure. If you are going to embark on a pirate adventure, first you will need to prepare. You are the pirate captain and that means you are in charge. To start, you’ll need to choose a ship. You can pick from seven ships and can upgrade them throughout the game. Next, you will need to create your crew. You can select crew members from nine different pirate classes. Your crew members will be with you through the ups and downs of your adventure, so choose carefully.
Setting Sail Across the Stormy Seas
Once your crew is assembled and your ship is ready to go, you can set sail for your adventure. There are six regions you can explore and over one hundred events to participate in. As you travel across the world, you will encounter enemy pirates, hungry sharks, ancient ruins and ghost ships. If you and your crew are going to survive and bring home a big bounty, you will need to keep morale up and care for your crew. You will also need a fair amount of luck because much of the gameplay relies on the roll of a die.
