South Korean game developer HAEGIN has announced that their popular title Play Together just reached the 100 million download milestone within a year. Pre-registrations for the game started in March 2021 and it became a global hit. The international title is a casual social game where players can make a sandbox world their own.
The game takes place on Kaia Island, a wonderland full of more than 20 mini games for players to enjoy. These include the typical fishing mini game, camping, attending classes or hanging out with other players. One of the ways hangouts can happen in this sandbox multiplayer is via home parties. These parties allow players to show off the decorations and items they’ve collected in the game. Players can also use the items to personalize both their character and house. Thanks to partnerships with companies such as LINE Friends and 7-Eleven Korea, there’s decorative and play features that mimic the real world.
Some other achievements Play Together has added to their shelf include first place on the top free games chart for both the App Store and Google Play in Taiwan and Vietnam. Play Together has also won the Sensor Tower APAC Awards 2021 for Best Korean Metaverse Game.
Starting March 23rd, HAEGIN has prizes for players when they log into Play Together to commemorate the 100 million download milestone. There’ll also be a unique coupon just for the Play Together community on March 30th. Remember to keep your eyes out for the Hardcore Droid review of this multiplayer sandbox.
