Login Rewards and Cake Challenge!
The first anniversary of Pokemon UNITE is coming this Thursday, July 21st, 2022. To celebrate, The Pokémon Company has announced a series of fresh updates and in-game events that will come to Pokémon UNITE over the next month, featuring a variety of prizes, fun activities, and surprises for both new and old players to enjoy!
Players can earn special login rewards from July 21st at midnight Pacific Time until October 12th at 4:59 pm PDT. For up to five days, players can receive a UNITE license and Holowear set on their first log in each day. Players that already have these rewards will receive 100 Aeos coins for each.
The developer’s also running an Anniversary Cake Challenge. It will also run from July 21st at 12:00 am PDT until August 1st at 4:59 pm. Players can collect frosting to complete an anniversary cake and receive rewards.
Six New Playable Pokemon and Boss Rush Mode!
Additionally, developers are adding six new playable Pokemon, three of which are coming in September but are currently not identified. First, the Fresh Snow Pokemon Glaceon will join the fray on the game’s anniversary. It will be a Ranged attacker like Sylveon and Espeon. Players can earn its UNITE license by completing the “Icy Glaceon Challenge” from July 21st at 12:00 am PDT to August 14th at 4:59 pm. The two other known Pokémon will be the Ultra Beast Buzzwole and the Armor Pokémon Tyranitar (August 15th). Buzzwole arrives on August 3rd, with Tyranitar coming to Pokemon UNITE on August 15th.
Finally, players can team up in the game’s first PvE-style quick-battle event for a limited time- Boss Rush! They will need to work together to defeat powerful Boss Pokemon, and the higher players go in the rankings, the better the rewards they’ll receive! The event will run throughout July and August.
