In A Paperless World
Welcome to Dunder Mifflin, a paper company. Players can now pre-register for The Office: Somehow We Manage on the Google Play Store. The title is based on the U.S version of the hit comedy The Office, which streams exclusively on Peacock. This new game recreates The Office and its workers in adorable 2D fashion. It’s an idle simulation game in which players must keep the Scranton branch from being downsized.
The Office: Somehow We Manage appears to be a standard management tycoon came as far as gameplay mechanics go. Players will need to manage time and resources to increase the branch’s profits. Unlocking upgrades and building new desks for Dunder Mifflin employees will be key to making the Scranton branch thrive.
To keep Scranton’s Dunder Mifflin office afloat you’ll need to sell paper. Of course, you’ll also need to deal with Jim pranking Dwight, and Dwight’s constant complaints about Jim. But that’s all part of being a manager. The game includes familiar characters to collect such as Toby, Pam and Darryl. You can even collect characters such as Prison Mike and Three-Hole Punch Jim.
Help Jim, Dwight, Stanley and Phyllis make sales. Players will complete quest objectives such as get 25 leads for Dwight’s desk or collect 3 times from Jim’s desk. You’ll also earn rewards and currency called Scottcoins.
The game promises to let fans relive iconic —tap your way through “The Dundies”, suffer through Jan and Michael’s “Dinner Party”, cheer your favorite characters on during the “Office Olympics” and share in Stanley’s excitement on pretzel day.
