A New Dark World
The newest world created by LINE Games is in peril. Undecember is the latest title to join the LINE library for both mobile and PC platforms. LINE Games already has quite the library of mobile titles across the RPG and casual genres. Exos Heroes and Buried Stars have already paved the way for their cross-platform titles.
Undecember, a hack and slash ARPG, will be released in South Korea on January 13 with a global release following shortly. The world of Undecember is under siege with the minions of the Undecember god threatening to destroy all of creation. Players have a simple objective before them: to save the world of Traum and stop the Evil God Serpens from returning.
The setup and released visuals of the game bring dark fantasy titles such as Diablo and Dark Souls to mind. LINE has thrown in a new feature to differentiate themselves from the classic fantasy RPGs. The class system has been left behind and players are free to not only customize their fighting styles, but their character’s appearance as well. Even their weapons and armor can be customized and farmed.
LINE has stated that while Undecember will be free-to-play, it won’t be pay-to-win. Players can buy battle passes that will include cosmetic items and convenience features.
