Battle for Earth
Kuro Game is bringing their chart-topping sci-fi RPG title to Android and iPhone this summer. The world of Punishing: Gray Raven is that of a post-apocalyptic world. The studio referenced titles like Nier: Automata and Bayonetta when creating Punishing: Gray Raven.
The game studio originally released Punishing: Gray Raven in China and Japan in 2019. Kuro Game decided to go global after the game was successful in those two regions. There’s no confirmed date for the English language release of the game. Even so, Kuro Game promises that it will be released in the summer.
The world of Punishing: Gray Raven is one full of machines. A biochemical virus has corrupted androids and most other technology. The safe haven of the space station Babylonia is where the remnants of humanity live. Humanity’s only hope is the Gray Raven special forces group. This is the unit leading the fight to retake the corrupted home world.
Kuro Game has combined RPG elements with visual novel storytelling in order to create a compelling combat game. A first wave of players were selected for a closed Android beta. The beta’s main goal is to test the game mechanics. An iOS beta will be announced after the start of the Android beta. These beta players will receive a wealth of resources as well as special gifts. There’s also the promises of no character wipes when the game officially launches. Updates will be available on Punishing: Gray Raven’s Facebook and Twitter page.
