3D Puzzle Fantasy
After a year-long open beta, publisher 505 Games finally launched Puzzle Quest 3 on Google Play and the App Store. A sequel to their popular puzzle RPG, Puzzle Quest 3 takes place in the land of Etheria over 500 years after the original game. Now, new heroes set out on a quest to save the world and figure out the Red Dragon’s prophecy. Players take their group of heroes to explore dungeons, collect loot and equip amazing gear to prepare them to face the forces of evil.
Additionally, choose heroes from different factions like Assassins, Berserkers, Necromancers, Paladins and Shamans to fight villains in one-on-one combat. Follow an engaging story and match same-colored gems in eight directions to attack normal enemies and giant bosses. Gorgeous 3D graphics, a new feature for the series, really make Puzzle Quest 3 stand out in a big way.
Play alone or with friends beyond the campaign in Kingdom Alliance or Tournament PvP and climb the leaderboards. Also, complete quests to earn rewards like hundreds of weapons and other loot to upgrade your heroes. Watch fluidly animated battles as they cast spells, use different abilities and strike down foes with ultimate attacks.
According to the publisher’s CEO and creative lead, the developers tried to stay “true to the classic puzzle combat experience that our fans know and love, while also modernizing the game for a whole new generation of players that are looking for something new within the genre.” And it appears they’ve done just that, exceptionally well too. Also, this game is free-to-play and players who download it within the first month of launch will receive special rewards like gems, gold and even gear.
