Say Hello to the Poring
Gravity Co.’s newest game, Ragnarok: Poring Merge, has recently dropped on Google Play. This new RPG stars cute little characters called the Porings. The game has an interesting premise: players can merge the Porings they collect to increase their strength. Merging allows the Porings to evolve into more powerful forms known as heroes. These special units are integral to fighting against some of the
tougher foes players will come across. The game aims for simplicity by displaying multiple stats on screen at any given time such as currency, hero info, missions and Poring summoning. It also allows players to check their battles with ease.
It’s Raining Porings
Each Poring unit can fight on their own, but players can form units in various ways using Poring heroes and unique skills. Each obtained Poring can become stronger by training them in the Lab. Meanwhile, the deployment system can place multiple Porings on the battlefield. The more areas Porings are deployed to, the more rewards players can get. Such rewards include various crystals, which can be used to unlock things or increase certain stats.
Porings, Charge!
The battle system in the game is real-time, giving players multiple powers to choose from. Players can play through numerous battle systems such as Dungeons, World Bosses, User Battles and more. Ragnarok: Poring Merge has about 400 stages for a single player experience. On the other hand, players can also engage with adventurers from around the world in Hero Matches, where players send their Porings to fight World Bosses.
