A new side-scrolling RPG roguelike from developer Headup Games has arrived on Android. In Pixel Heroes: Byte & Magic players explore a randomized world exploring dangerous dungeons, participating in procedurally generated events and encountering odd NPCs with their three chosen heroes. Developers Headup Games claim that your journey will be completely different each time you start a new game.

Staying true to its roguelike style Pixel Heroes: Byte & Magic makes each death permanent but allows you to mourn them in the graveyard, comparing their statistics and the cause of their demise. Each of the games 30 unique classes of hero bear their own individual skills and strengths and it’s procedurally generated weapon system mean there are a innumerable amount of swords, spells, shields, bows, and maces to try out. Pixel Heroes: Byte & Magic has three Campaigns with 13 dungeons on offer. Random events and storied NPC side quests add to the content, giving players the ability to unlock new things.

You can get Pixel Heroes: Byte & Magic for $6.99 here on Google Play .
The game is also available for PC here on steam for $9.99
