Spring is in the Air
January 25, 2022, saw a Spring Festival celebration take over the nearly 5-star rated game Revived Witch on Google Play as Developer company Yostar (Yo-star) dropped “Budding Fortune” into the game just seven days before the Chinese Lunar New Year. Happy Year of the Water Tiger, everyone. The “Budding Fortune” event in-game will run for exactly twenty-one days, Jan25 – Feb15.
During the event, players can reap the rewards of new mini-games and new boss battles. Reports state that there are three Bosses of Spook and one the Final Boss of the Spring Festival itself, Beast Nian. In addition, the in-game shop also comes equipped with new bundles and two Festival-themed Dolls. The first is Princess of Memory (Tuonel of Night), which was only available from January 25 to February 1st. Meanwhile, players can still find Spring Beat (Kapla) in Dreamland Summon. Both new Dolls come with their own unique abilities and appearances.
As Revived Witch’s Budding Fortune event closes up its final week, players will have to hurry to finish out the special themed boss battles if they hope to get all the rewards available to them. The developers also provide a new costume for Mineer in the shop, titled “Spring Orchid,” which will help complete any player’s costume collection.
For new initiates to Revived Witch, the game is an adventure PRG that effortlessly blends 2d pixel art with 3D lighting effects for a unique but old game world feel, with music to match.
