Reaching the Throne
The newest release from ONESOFT, Royal Knight: RNG Battle is available for early access on Android and iOS. What’s cool about this game is that it’s a vertical RPG; all you need is one free hand to play it. ONESOFT has some experience making vertical RPGs and this definitely isn’t their first foray into fantasy.
Royal Knight: RNG Battle promises to deliver hours of fun thanks to the game’s storyline. While the premise itself isn’t anything new or out of this world, it looks to be along the lines of most vertical RPGs. What ONESOFT does promise, though, is that combat won’t be the sole focus of the game.
The core of ONESOFT’s RPG is a medieval castle adventure. You start right at the very bottom of your kingdom’s pecking order. Even though your character does start as a lowly page, ONESOFT claims that the journey to the throne will be a short one. And to keep that throne, you’ll have to keep the wheels of your kingdom turning, from defending the borders of your kingdom from other rulers to managing the vassals and craftsmen of your castle.
With Royal Knight: RNG Battle emphasis on ruling a kingdom opens up the possibilities for different playing styles. The title supports styles ranging from being a conqueror to a peaceful ruler who focuses on cultural development. ONESOFT also promises a mercenary system that will allow you to dominate the game’s arena mode and monthly game events.
