A RuneScape Celebration
The beloved PC game-turned-mobile hit RuneScape has turned one year old. The developer, Jagex, will celebrate the occasion with a treasure trove for players. Each will be given an assortment of free items, XP boosts, and chances to unlock hidden treasure, according to GamesPress. Whether you’re an experienced member or a free player, the game will grant five Treasure Hunter Keys to everyone to use for these hidden treasures. The XP boosts will come in the form of a “knowledge bomb” and Bullsmith outfit. These raise XP for a limited time by 50%.
What is RuneScape?
RuneScape is a fantasy, open-world MMORPG where you choose your own adventure. You can make your mark on the history of Gielinor or set out on a personal farming journey. Friends and enemies await you on your journey, in a rich tapestry of NPCs and lore. You can visit numerous locations and take up a variety of trades. With the choice of 28 different skills to hone your craft, you can take charge in a world of your own. If you want to get down and dirty with other characters in combat, there’s variety there as well, with swords and bows and magic, among many others. While you can play for free, membership allows access to the entire world, unlocking many new skills and over a hundred quests to take part in.
