New, New, New!
Some magical new updates are coming to the world of RuneScape. These include a new quest and crafting options players won’t want to miss. Coming off the heels of the epic Elder God Wars finale, RuneScape introduces Prehistoric Potterington’s ‘Accidental’ Fletching & Firemaking Training Stations. Said to be something of a gameplay respite, this update brings new arrows and new training means. First, complete the Extinction quest and then go meet with Prehistoric Potterington at the Anachronia Dinosaur Farm.
There you’ll find Potterington has discovered new methods to train Fletching and Firemaking using dinosaur eggs and zygomites. The zygomites are adorable little plant creatures that also happen to be quite ancient. Take care of your creatures through incubating, feeding and more to collect and combine the components of T95 Dinarrows and imbue them with one of four powerful Elder God combat effects. Creating both Dinarrows and Elder God Arrows can either help in an upcoming event or can be sold at the Grand Exchange for quite a bit of money.
Additionally, the Double XP Live event returns for a limited time, starting on May 20th and lasting until the 30th. The last time this event was held was in February, so enjoy getting those points while you can. Once that event is over, RuneScape is bringing back Yak Trak, going from May 30th to July 24th. Traveling through Gielinor, players can complete various tasks to get Iaia themed cosmetic rewards and pets. No need to rush through that event.
