A new 2D Beat ’em up from developers SNK Playmore, who were previously responsible for bringing multiple Neo Geo and arcade titles to Android such as the Metal Slug series, Samurai Showdown and the King of Fighters, has been released on Android.
Garou: Mark of the Wolves is part of the Fatal Fury series that debuted in 1991 as a 2D brawler featuring characters Andy Bogard, Terry Bogard and Joe Higashi. The newest addition brings a fresh cast to the series and introduces new gameplay elements. One is the T.O.P System which allows players to place a mark on their health bar. When that mark is reached your character will receive a strength boost and gain access to some special moves. Just Defence rewards players for last second blocks and Breaking allows character’s to cancel certain special moves for high damage combos. Garou: Mark of the Wolves also features a local multiplayer mode so you can hook up with a friend via Bluetooth if you fancy going a few rounds.
The game is available for $3.99 here on Google Play.
