Fuzzy Mystery Mansion
Suspects: Mystery Mansion is a social deduction game developed by Wildlife. It looks similar to Among Us, but with cute animals instead of astronauts. Both games revolve around similar ideas with players trying to deduce a secret killer hiding among them. The biggest difference are the roles played. In Among Us, you’re either a killer or a survivor. In Suspects: Mystery Mansion, there are three roles: assassins, guests and detectives.
Assassins try to kill everyone that isn’t an assassin. Guests go around the map and try to complete objective minigames. Detectives attempt to figure out who the killer is. There are two big sections to gameplay. The first is openly moving around the board, trying to complete tasks. This is when assassins pick off guests. Once a body is reported, all the guests meet to talk. They can then vote on a player to remove.
The game allows you to play games with both friends and random players. Wildlife claims that the random players will be similar in skill level, thanks to an in-game ranking system to sort the players. There will also be in-game voice chat, so players won’t have to rely on Discord or text chat to communicate. Players can unlock multiple characters and cosmetics, likely via in-app purchases. There will also be free characters that players can unlock without spending money.
Suspects: Mystery Mansion looks like a fun social deduction game. Hopefully, it will live up to its promises with fun tasks and interesting roles. The game is available for download now from the Google Play Store. We’ll also be playing it ourselves, so be on the lookout for a review from Hardcore Droid.
