Terramorphers turn-based RPG, the name says it all.
Okay, so maybe the name doesn’t say it all, because I have no idea what the heck it means. But “whether or not” you understand the name doesn’t matter, because Terramorphers, a turn-based RPG developed by Unibyte Studios is now available for free on the Play Store.
Turn-based games have been around for decades, with one of the most popular being the Final Fantasy franchise. It’s a genre that has been slim pickings on the Android platform. With not many games available that offer this particular style, it should be a welcome addition to fans. The object of the game is to engage in combat with either live players in PVP, or against enemy AI by taking turns in a classic turn-based interface.
Start Terramorphers by creating a character and username. Afterward, players are presented with a loot table and a large number of stages they will have to clear. Beginning levels pit you against a handful of weak opponents, poised to ruin your day. Enemies only get stronger as you progress. The action takes place on a honeycomb-style interface reminiscent of Q-Bert and features 1v1 or 2v2 multiplayer, infinite dungeons, over twenty different classes, and seventy different skills.
Going into the lazy summer months, Terramorphers seems to be just the kind of experience players need right now. Check out the trailer below and stay tuned for Hardcore Droid’s official review upon release.
