Spread the love

eSports have become a billion-dollar business with a huge fan base. Making a living from gaming is no longer a far-fetched possibility, so if you’re serious about making it your job, you’ll need to treat it like such. Getting to a place where people notice you is challenging. To get your name out there, you must compete and win. In the meantime, let’s take a look at some of the greatest  eSports players  in history.

Rasmus Winther

If you’re curious about the next big thing in League of Legends, he’s the one to watch. It’s said that he’s a pain to deal with, but he has a lot of potential. However, nobody would argue that pure skill isn’t the most important factor in a competitive setting.

Given his record, it’s hardly an exaggeration to call him one of the most exciting new mid-laners in the game’s history. The bright side is that he hasn’t even reached his creative peak yet. What he managed wasn’t even close to his best work. Some people think he is capable of far more than that.

Accomplishments

  • MSI champion (2019)
  • MSI MVP
  • TCL champion
  • 2× Rift Rivals champion
  • 7× LEC champion
  • 3× LEC MVP
  • 7× LEC First All-Pro Team

If you are interested in LoL odds, there are many online betting sites to visit. All you have to do is choose the right option.

Johan Sundstein

Johan Sundstein uses the name N0tail when competing. He is one of the best-paid players in the history of eSports for his work in the Dota 2 scene. After signing with Fnatic, he became a major player. Since then, he’s been on various teams, including OG and Cloud9.

N0tail, by the way, is well-known not just for winning incredible prize money but also for his abilities. At the International, he was a key contributor to OG’s success and is considered one of the best players in the world.

Accomplishments

  • 4× Dota Major champion (Frankfurt, Manila, Boston, Kyiv)
  • 2× The International champion (2018, 2019)

Luka Perković

Luka “Perkovi” is a great asset to League of Legends. He made a mark the moment he emerged. Recently, Perkz has won praise for his exceptional lane switching skills in professional League of Legends matches. What’s impressive is how easily he achieved this.

Even though he occasionally demonstrates that he can hold his own against any champion, his recent actions show that he prioritizes his team.

Given the emphasis on teamwork in LoL, that makes sense. To succeed as a team, you must ensure everyone is talking to one another and doing their part.

Accomplishments

  • MSI champion (2019)
  • 4× LEC All-Pro First Team
  • 8× LEC champion
  • 1× LCS All-Pro First Team
  • LCS champion

Patrik Lindberg

Patrik Lindberg (f0rest), currently 28 years old, was born in Sweden, a country with a long and distinguished history of gaming success. Lindberg was the best-known player in the Western hemisphere in eSports for a while. F0rest’s most significant achievement was perhaps his phenomenal 2009 run on team Fnatic. His flawless performance helped them become the highest-earning team in Counter-Strike history when many people were scared the game was dying.

Since f0rest’s professional debut in 2005, he has consistently been a top-tier player. He’s not only the best Counter-Strike player of all time, but he’s also gone on to the game’s sequel, where he led Ninjas in Pyjamas to become the most dominating eSports team ever.

Accomplishments

  • CS: GO Major champion (Cologne 2014)
  • 8x HLTV MVP
  • GGL Counter-Strike Player of 2006
  • 4x HLTV Top 20 Player of the Year (2013-2016)

Jang Jae-Ho (Moon)

While Grubby dominated the international scene, Moon dominated South Korea, sometimes called the “Mecca” of eSports. Moon has been dominant since the early days of Warcraft 3’s competitive scene when he routinely defeated the world’s top players. Nobody else has the credibility to make such a statement. He became a famous figure around the world as a result. Moon was the fifth playable race in a game where the player may choose from four.

Beyond his achievements, Moon will go down in history thanks to the historic deal he signed in 2009. After dominating the scene for almost seven years, he was offered a $500,000 contract by the Korean squad WeMade FOX. His income reflected his worldwide fame and success, but especially his huge fan base in Asia.

Accomplishments

  • 2× IEF champion
  • WCG champion
  • 4× NGL-One champion
  • 9× MBC Game League champion
  • 2× PGL champion
  • NeXT champion
  • 3× WC3L champion
  • 2× IEST champion
  • 4× WEG champion

Final Words

It’s no surprise that many competitive gamers now want to compete internationally, given the size of the prize pools at stake in eSports competitions.

The champions began their careers as novices like the rest of us. Years of hard work and dedication paid off when they were invited to compete in big competitions.
