The Japanese market is often so different from our market; it’s sometimes feels like looking at another world, especially when it comes to tech. The new Sharp Aquos Crystal, however, might just catch your eye.
The phone comes in two sizes, 5-inches or 5.5-inches and boasts some pretty nice features. The 5-inch including 720p resolution, a Snapdragon 400 processor, 1.5GB of RAM, and Android 4.4. The the 5.5-inch phone is being advertised as the premium version of the two, and it is: offering 2GB of RAM, a smoking Snapdragon 801, that steps the resolution up to quite respectable 1080p. Both versions make for a decent mid-range phone.
The phone will drop later this month with Softbank, a Japanese mobile company. Sprint will be bringing it over the states later this year as well as its prepaid subsidiaries, Virgin and Boost Mobile.
No suggested price yet, but expect more news as the US release draws near.
