Nexon, best known for the KartRider series and MapleStory, has made their hit online MMORPG, V4, available for free on IOS and Google Play this month. The game features lush, eye-popping graphics powered by Unreal Engine 4 and cross platform play and support between PC, IOS, and Android, which allows players to team up with people from around the world, whether their playing on their PC or mobile device.

Players will choose between six unique classes: Enchantress, Warlord, Slayer, Knight, Gunslinger, and Boomblade. Each class comes with their own specific weapon, ranging from the Enchantress’ staff to the Boomblade’s battle axe rifle. Players will also be able to fully customize their character’s appearance. The game boasts 50+ customization options, so players will have a lot of options when creating the perfect look for their avatar.

After character creation, players will set off to save the land of Syllunas, a once peaceful realm that is now under siege by the evil Guardio and the Scoria Knights. Players will team up to form guilds with other players as they explore the world Syllunas, looking for lustrous weapons and armor to help them take over the battlefield. Combat consists of real-time PvP and PvE challenges, so players will have to choose between teaming up or fighting against other players. Boss battle can also feature up to 300 players in battle at once, which is unheard of in a mobile MMORPG.

V4 also features an autonomous, player-driven marketplace, which allows players to set their own prices for equipment and items without any cap. It looks like Nexon has created an entire world for players to explore unlike any before seen in a mobile game, a rare blend of action, exploration, beautiful graphics, and cross platform support. Stayed tuned for the Hardcore Droid review.

Hey, I’m James, or Jimmy, whichever you prefer. I am a graduate of the prestigious Temple University, where I once got in trouble for trying to say my middle name was, ‘Butt Soup.’ When I’m not writing about Android games, I’m usually writing about the 76ers for thephifthquarter.com. I’m 5’7, 170lb, right handed, and one time I high-fived Kendrick Lamar. That’s pretty much me.
