With Heroes Idle RPG just ambled onto Google Play last week. With its cute-looking art style and lengthy list game modes, it looks like it’s shaping up to be an addictive and attractive idle game. Collect a strange array of heroes to battle foes and conquer the world.
The heroes in With Heroes range from historical figures to mythological and fantasy characters. Characters have tiered ranks, and are further classified by class and faction. This leaves players curious as to whether a hero like Beethoven would be in the Holy Faction or Chaos Faction, and does he or Rapunzel seem more like an assassin? Guess there’s only one way to find out.
With Heroes’ various game modes include Quests, Dungeons, an endless play they call “Portal Battle,” and a PvP called “Colosseum”. You can also join guilds. Their guilds have unique features that allow you to evolve your heroes, upgrade equipment, and whatever else your motley crew of prominent socio-cultural team members may require.
Judging from art alone, its shaping up to be an aesthetically pleasing game. The art style is both cute and threatening. And really, who doesn’t love chibi Thor?
Because With Heroes is a free-to-play gacha game, you can naturally expect microtransactions out the wazoo. Gamer reviews on the Play Store are mixed on the amount of microtransactions needed to play the game satisfactorily, but that will remain to be seen. Definitely be on the lookout for an HD review of this one.
