Pinball meets RPG Fun
Kakao Games Corp. just launched a new mobile title. World Flipper merges pinball with the world of action RPGs. This Korean game studio has released popular titles like Moonlight Sculptor, Guardian Tales and HELLO BT21.
The story of World Flipper follows the familiar theme of two heroes traveling through different worlds to defeat evil. Throughout their journey, they collect companions from the various worlds they visit. Each level conquered means another defeated enemy and another world saved from evil.
While original characters are found in the title, some characters from Cygames’ Granblue Fantasy show up. The reason for this is because Kakao Games Corp. teamed up with Cygames to publish the title worldwide. World Flipper was originally released in 2019 for Japan servers. Pinball style gameplay combined with 2D graphics aims to give World Flipper a retro vibe. To go along with this feel, the developers have included an upbeat fusion of EDM and chiptune music.
Kakao Games is celebrating the global release of the game through a giveaway. The prize is $2,750 in Amazon gift cards. Winners will be selected from the North America, South America, and Europe servers. There’s six different ways to enter and they’re all listed on the official website. The last day to enter the giveaway was September 24th. World Flipper also has an official Twitter and YouTube for players to keep up with announcements.
