The Aliens are Coming
Feral Interactive just announced that XCOM 2 Collection is now available on the Google Play Store. After years of the original XCOM, players will now gather on the new strategy title to battle their oppressors. The strategy game features striking guerilla tactics and cutting-edge technology. The goal is to reclaim Earth with new-mobilized forces and create a better future. It is a full-fledged port from the desktop classic, XCOM 2: War of the Chosen, but optimized and reimagined for Android.
Mechanics and DLC
A unique command interface—made specifically for mobile—will be available to plan missions before deploying your soldiers. Once planned and on the ground, you will find uniquely tailored combat controls alongside gesture controls. These will let you scout the battlefield and coordinate assaults. The game will feature specialties such as the explosive grenadier and the cunning tech specialist.
XCOM 2 Collection features four DLC packs, which include Alien Hunters, Shen’s Last Gift, Anarchy’s Children and the Resistance Warrior Pack. The game, including its DLC, will be available for $24.99 with no in-app purchases. The game requires Android 9 or later and is supported on a select number of devices.
