Ancient Alien Puzzles
Plug in Digital’s widely acclaimed PC title is now available for iOS and Android. Machinika Museum is the distributor’s latest puzzle game. Plug in Digital has released a variety of titles, some of them for free. The distributor has satirical games like Agatha Knife and a host of puzzle titles.
Machinika Museum is, as the name suggests, set within a museum. The job of the player is to study artifacts and mechanisms from an ancient alien civilization. What is apparently different from usual in the game is that the most recent batch of artifacts is questionable. The player has no information about the newest objects. This is information that the player has to discover for themselves. In addition to that, the player has to figure out the reason for all the secrecy.
Plug in Digital promises hours full of exciting puzzles and beautiful visuals. The puzzles are mechanical in nature. These puzzles are the artifacts that are the new museum additions. Some of them are in need of repair and in order to fix them, puzzles need to be solved. The same is true for understanding how the artifacts function and learning about the civilization behind them.
All of this is wrapped up within several story chapters. The first chapter of the game is free to play. After the free demo is run through, the full title can be bought for $4.99. Keep an eye out for the Hardcore Droid review to find out more about Machinika Museum.
