Mobile Bank Heist
Indie video game developer KillaSoft announced that they are developing a title based on Netflix’s La Casa De Papel (Money Heist). KillaSoft unveiled La Casa De Papel on the last day of Netflix’s virtual Geeked Week fan event. Production started on this action game in 2021 with the studio promising to deliver the tile in 2023. This bank heist game is being developed in collaboration with Netflix and will be released on the streaming platform.
KillaSoft revealed some of the features of the stylized cel-shaded game at Geeked Week. Players have the chance to fully immerse themselves in the universe of La Casa de Papel thanks to KillaSoft’s art choices. Multiple members of the classic crew will be playable and have their own unique abilities that KillaSoft will reveal at a later date.
Two mini games have been confirmed to be included in the game. One of them is safe-cracking and the other is lock-picking. Gestured based timed events will also make an appearance. Along with these mini games are the typical bank heist scenarios. Players will have to hack security systems and either sneak past security or knock out them out. Reconnaissance before the heist is another scenario players will run through when planning their heist. Shootouts also have the possibility of occurring if the heist goes bad.
