Best Android Games of June 2021

With the end of the month comes the time for Hardcore Droid’s list of the best Android games of June 2021. This month’s list features a whole lot of simulation with just enough RPG to round it out.

5. Sarah’s Adventure: Missing Treasures

Sarah’s boring life turns upside down one day as she goes from her job at a world-class museum to suddenly finding herself in 19th century downtown New York. Publisher Game Knight Network Technology Limited provides a puzzle solving experience along with an interactive storyline in this simulation game. Players solve mysteries and restore historical artifacts while building and decorating their own farmhouse. In addition, the game features over 100 locations around the world for players to explore.

Sarah’s Adventure: Missing Treasures is a history buff’s dream, featuring famous historical figures like Van Gogh and Nobel. Along with famous figures of history, players find artifacts and treasures to showcase in a museum showroom. The story advances as players complete quests, creating their own personal collection of artifacts along the way. The plethora of features provides players with an excellent variety of gameplay. In short, an interesting story and engaging puzzles make Sarah’s Adventure: Missing Treasures a time travel experience you’ll want to dive into.

4. Lost Survivors

Grab a volleyball named Wilson and be prepared to survive as you get stranded on a tropical island in Lost Survivors.  The goal is to not just survive but to thrive as you build your own camp and explore the island. Publisher InnoGames presents a new simulation experience for players who have always dreamed of living on and decorating their own island. Along the way, players rescue other survivors and exotic animals and have them join the camp. These recruits later will gather resources and assist in crafting goods.

The game’s exploration extends beyond the island. Players search the ocean for resources and buried treasure by deep sea diving. Gameplay is not just limited to single-player exploration and building either. Guilds connect people and allow them to work together.

Living on a deserted island in reality may not be all that appealing, but living on a virtual island of your dreams is an adventure definitely worth exploring. Lost Survivors provides that adventure and more for fans of city-building games, earning it a spot on this list of the best Android games of June 2021.

3. Idle Mastermind

Superhero games are a dime a dozen nowadays, but supervillain games are a much rarer sight. Gamers who have always wanted to try out being a villain will feel at home in Idle Mastermind. The makers of Idle Apocalypse, publisher Grumpy Rhino Games, does an excellent job of creating the ultimate supervillain simulation experience. Players select between three distinct villains and create their own evil lair. Moreover, these lairs have over 30 unique floors which generate resources while players are offline.

Along with evil lairs, players can hire an army of henchmen to do their bidding. There are over 20 to choose from, each with different classes and abilities. The number of lair and henchmen choices allows for players to truly build their own dream supervillain empire. The variety doesn’t end there, though, because the three villains each have their own strategies, skills and stories. Grumpy Rhino Games adds its own signature humor to the title, providing an overall enjoyable and villainous experience. Idle Mastermind is a perfect choice for anyone looking to take over the world and laugh while they’re doing it.

2. GT Manager

Racing gamers looking for a new experience on mobile are in for a treat with GT Manager. Developer The Tiny Digital Factory has changed up the gameplay of typical racing games. Races are entirely simulated. Mainly, this lets players manage their racing teams instead of directly handling driving. Options for the racing team include a choice of cars, drivers, car customizations, sponsors and even more. Over time, players build their facilities up as well, gaining new buildings with more modification possibilities.

GT Manager carries some nice online capabilities, with players able to trade cars with other each other. In addition, races are both single player and online, allowing gamers to decide how they want to play. The races include sprints, endurance and daily races, with 16 different tracks available to compete on. Ultimately, players must adapt their strategies based off the race events and the strain each puts on their vehicles. Every weekend, the 48H Endurance Series takes place on four different racetracks, giving players a fun event to look forward to. In conclusion, GT Manager provides a unique and customizable racing experience for those looking for a change of pace.

1. Heroism

Dungeon crawling takes on a whole new form in the idle-RPG hybrid game Heroism. Publisher Minmaxia creates an entirely unique experience with their mashup of RPG dungeon crawling and optional idle gameplay. Like many dungeon crawlers, players take on the role of a hero tasked with saving a town from monsters. The game features labyrinths filled to the brim with enemies to fight. Players who enjoy the hands-on experience of RPGs have access to a large amount of content and dungeons to explore.

Those who need a break from endless monster-slaying can utilize Idle Mode, which essentially has the game play itself. The hero character travels and explores dungeons on their own. Grinding in video games has a mixed track record, which is why Heroism allows players to choose their preferred amount of grinding. Through Idle Mode, players who prefer results without having to dungeon crawl for hours can avoid getting burnt out through playing. Also, the game provides toggle options for players to take control in higher level dungeons to avoid any unnecessary demises. Overall, the choice between idle and active gameplay opens the game up to a wider audience and variety of mobile gamers. Heroism spins the dungeon crawling genre on its head with its own Idle Mode that eliminates the inevitable grind players tend to face.

Just wanted to point out that it’s 19th century England for Sarah’s Adventures, not 19th century New York.
