Dead Cells Makes its Way onto Google Play

Playdigious’ hugely successful indie hit, Dead Cells, has finally made its way to Google Play. With the title being offered at a special 10% off launch price, there could not be a better Android game with which to start your summer.

Dead Cells is a roguevania action platformer that requires players to fight their way past a multitude of enemies. The aim is to explore the mystery of its ever-changing castle and the gloomy island it’s built upon. Playdigious’ brutally difficult souls-lite title offers complex dungeons and boss fights, and calls for players to master a wide range of skills, weapons and tools.

Android Dead Cells 2

Staying true to the roguevania ideal, Dead Cells offers progressive exploration of a side-scrolling world. This complex world features rogue-lite elements such as permadeath and procedurally-generated levels. Gameplay necessitates players learn their enemies’ patterns if they wish to survive. Otherwise, they’re dead and resurrected in the blink of an eye.

One of the most unique features of this indie classic is its non-linear progression. Unlike many side-scrolling platformers, Dead Cells allows players to move according to their mood and playstyle. They are free to choose whatever path suits their current build best. Players can also play at their own pace which means they can either decide to explore every single part of the castle or rush their way to the end.

The mobile iteration offers a revamped interface including two game modes, original and auto-hit, along with external controller support. Moreover, it is completely ad-free which automatically translates to smooth, interruption-free gameplay! We honestly cannot wait to give this one a shot.
