1v1 Me, Bro
Part number-crunching minigame, part-competitive puzzle, Drop Battle: 1v1 PVP has arrived on Google Play. The latest from genre-veterans SUPERBOX.INC, players frantically try to merge matching number boxes to outlast their opponents.
The aim is simple. First, don’t let your stack of blocks reach the ceiling. Second, prevent your opponent from doing the same. Players manage stacks by merging matching numbers. After a block reaches 128, you can cripple your opponent by giving them a block of metal they can’t remove. Anyone who has ever played 2048 will already be very familiar with the main gameplay; not much changed outside of the added features.

Touted as a “Time killer that makes you smart,” the latest release from SUPERBOX.INC is fast-paced and rewards quick thinking and strategic planning. Do you decide to merge the next falling block to your tallest stack and stave the inevitable? Or maybe you choose to think a few moves ahead and save it for a chance to rid yourself of a troublesome metal block? A rapidly ticking clock doesn’t make choosing any easier.
However, while Drop Battle: 1v1 PVP offers bot matches, as the name implies, it is still a competitive experience at its core. Moreover, with high scores to break and leaderboards to climb, players can satisfy their craving for battle while also progressing up a ladder to become the best.
