Potions Are Brewing
Genshin Impact’s 4.5 update titled “ “Blades Weaving Betwixt Brocade” arrives on March 13th. In this brand-new story event, players will journey to Mondstadt where they will help the knights of Favonius develop an alchemical business. You will also be able to recruit the five-star character Chiori during the event.
The Alchemical Ascension event sees travelers called on to manage a local potion brewing business. Every step of the brewing process is controlled by the player as they attempt to better the store in various ways. You can grow ingredients, brew potions, and then sell them to customers. The money generated by these sales can then be used to expand your business. Buying new containers for your potions with this money will also increase sales.
Your customers will include various familiar characters from the Genshin world as well. For playing the event you will be able to earn the exclusive 4-star polearm “Dialogues of the Desert Sages.” Alongside this event, players can also play with cats in “Feline Fortress Furrdyssey” and engage in combat in “Rolling Crossfire.”
New Companions
Those looking for a new companion for their adventure can also recruit the five-star character Chiori during the event. Chiori is the owner of the Chioriya Boutique in Fontaine and is a five-star Geo character who uses a sword to fight. Her fighting style involves summoning the doll “Tamoto” to deal damage that scales with Chiori’s defense and attack stats. Her elemental burst sees Chiori attack with twin blades in an AoE range that deals Geo-type damage. In addition, she also increases the movement speed of the part by 10% outside of combat.
Chiori’s Event Wishes will also feature Arataki Itto, followed by a second event featuring Neuvillette and Kaedehara Kazuha. A new “Chronicled Wish” will also launch in version 4.5. This Wish will feature older characters Albedo, Eula, Mona, Klee, Diluc, and Jean alongside 10 five-star weapons.
