Hogwarts, Magic Awakened, and Harry Potter
Even twenty-five years later, Harry Potter continues to evolve. The franchise is still going strong from its origina books to a massive film franchise, merchandise, games, and the upcoming film, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. It’s great news for fans, especially with the announcement of Harry Potter: Magic Awakened, a free-to-play forthcoming Android game released by Warner Bros. International Enterprises and set in J.K. Rowling’s magical universe.
At its core, the game is a hybrid collectible card game and MMO. All players start as either a witch or a wizard who has received an acceptance letter to the school of Hogwarts, queue the fun because there are no less than eight major aspects to Harry Potter: Magic Awakened. This amount of depth is impressive:
Players can master magic against their opponents by casting spells to debilitate them during online battles. Meanwhile, they can explore the halls of Hogwarts, take classes, learn new charms, and test their knowledge of magic. Players can additionally collect over 80 different cards to use against their opponents in thrilling online PVP matches. After you’ve accumulated some knowledge and built your deck, take part in 1v1 and 2v2 duels. You can also explore the Forbidden Forest to collect potion recipes to and then use them against your opponents. In addition, let’s not forget about taking part in a Sorting Hat ceremony right after arriving at Hogwarts. Finally, you can face off against varied creatures at card games, such as horn-tailed dragons, and be sure to squeeze in the occasional cooperative action of Quidditch.
